Small family-owned company looking to hire a full-time electrical apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated hard worker to experience on-the-job training alongside the owner and learn the trade. Applicant will be working in high-end residential and light commercial settings.
Qualifications:
· 1-2 years prior electrical experience
· Must comply with company/job safety requirements
· Able to follow instructions to perform manual tasks (ex: digging, pulling wire)
· Have reliable transportation (Drivers License Preferred)
· Able to work at various heights using ladders, scaffolds, roofs or other designated safe areas
· Able to use hand tools such cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, etc.
· Have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
· Possess the necessary hand tools for general electrical work
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
· Able to work overtime and possible weekends as required with short notice
· Stand, walk and climb repeatedly throughout day
· Stoop, bend, turn, twist and reach repeatedly throughout day
· Ability to independently lift workloads up to 50 lbs.
· Able to work in cold and hot environments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
