Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and common areas.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management promptly.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas including hallways, lobbies, and stairwells.
- Follow established safety protocols while performing cleaning tasks.
Skills
- Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques to ensure thorough sanitation.
- Experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of custodial practices to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of hospitality service expectations to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with floor care procedures for various types of surfaces.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality results in every task.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
