Property Accounting Manager
Location: Reno, NV (in-office)
Compensation: $90,000–$100,000
Schedule: 8-5:30 Monday-Friday 100% in person
About the Role
We're a family-operated real estate organization managing a portfolio of residential and commercial properties across multiple entities. We're seeking a hands-on Senior accountant and office manager to own full-cycle accounting across our books and lead a small accounting and administrative team.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities (residential and commercial) maintained in QuickBooks and Appfolio
- Handle AP, bank and account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and year-end close
- Prepare financial statements and reporting for ownership
- Oversee and review the work of other accountants and administrative staff
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across separate sets of books
- Coordinate with external CPAs on tax preparation and year-end
- Support budgeting, cash management, and ad hoc financial analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with property/real estate accounting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (managing multiple entities/books)
- Experience supervising or reviewing the work of others
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and month-end close
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple sets of books simultaneously
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Compensation & Benefits
$90,000–$100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Health insurance, dental, and vision
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
