The Environmental Health and Safety Regional Manager provides environmental, health, and safety leadership and support to Scent locations across North America and Latin America, helping ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement across the region.
This role partners closely with site teams, operations leaders, and the Global Scent Environmental Health and Safety team to strengthen environmental stewardship, workplace safety, occupational health, process safety, and chemical management programs.
This position may be located near any IFF Scent site within North America or Latin America and is primarily remote, with business travel as needed (typically approximately 20%, with occasional travel up to 50%).

Where You'll Make a Difference
Conduct regular reviews of incident data, performance metrics, leading indicators, and training effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement.
Facilitate and oversee environmental, health, and safety audits, risk assessments, and program evaluations across the region.
Provide technical guidance and support related to environmental compliance, occupational health, workplace safety, process safety, and chemical management.
Collaborate with the Global Scent Environmental Health and Safety team to develop, implement, and share best practices, tools, training materials, and resources.
What Makes You the Right Fit
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety , Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience; or a high school diploma with at least 15 years of directly related experience.
Experience leading or supporting environmental, health, and safety programs within manufacturing, industrial, or chemical processing environments.
Experience with International Organization for Standardization management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
Experience facilitating Process Hazard Analyses, machine safety risk assessments, industrial hygiene exposure assessments, and environmental, health, and safety training programs.
Exposure to global environmental, health, and safety initiatives, strategies, and best practices.
