American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Oncology unit requiring an active MA RN license and offering night shift assignments.

LTAC Oncology unit setting

Patient population requiring chemotherapy administration and diagnosis management

Uses Epic for charting

Night shift schedule (19:00-07:30)
-
Every other weekend required
-
Holiday coverage required
-
Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)

Current BLS certification required (AHA only)

Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start via NURSYS and BON

Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Interpret plans of medical care and apply clinical decision-making for individualized nursing care
-
Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
-
Maintain accurate patient records including vital signs and condition changes
-
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

Modify treatment plans based on patient response and condition

Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, with rate adjusted accordingly

Time is tracked using UKG/Kronos
