About the Role
This internship offers hands-on experience supporting a live, multi-platform IT environment — corporate users, retail stores, and point-of-sale systems — under the guidance of our IT team. You'll assist with real tickets, real hardware, and real users, building practical help desk experience alongside experienced technicians.
Qualifications

No degree required; currently pursuing or planning to pursue a degree/certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is welcome.

General help desk or IT support experience is welcome, but not required — this role is designed for candidates early in their IT career looking to build hands-on help desk experience.

Exposure to or coursework in Windows 10/11 and macOS environments a plus.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) preferred.

Interest in learning retail Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, including POS software, payment terminals, barcode scanners, receipt printers, and cash drawers.

Willingness to learn how to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and POS equipment under supervision.

Basic understanding of or coursework in networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi) helpful, not required.

Comfortable learning help desk ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Zendesk, Freshservice, or similar) on the job.

Strong communication and customer service instincts — comfortable helping non-technical users.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Apple, or other relevant IT certifications (in progress or completed) are a plus, not required.

Mac and iPad setup, configuration, and deployment basics

Exposure to Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms (Intune, Jamf, or Kandji) and Apple Business Manager

Retail POS system support — hardware and software troubleshooting under supervision

Hardware diagnostics for desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, and mobile devices

Ticketing system workflows and technical documentation practices

Basic cybersecurity awareness and best practices

Work Schedule & Availability

Full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Participate in a rotating on-call schedule during weekends and after business hours to respond to urgent IT support requests.

Must be available to provide remote and, when necessary, on-site support during weekends, holidays, and after-hours for critical business systems.

Occasional overtime may be required for system maintenance, upgrades, store openings, and emergency support.

Must be able to respond promptly to high-priority incidents affecting corporate users, retail stores, network infrastructure, and POS systems.
This is a full-time position, competitive pay with medical and dental benefits, 401k, and overtime opportunities. Cover letter is not required.
