Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Supervisor to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate on-site activities, manage teams, ensure safety compliance, and uphold quality standards. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction site operations, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or other construction management software to meet deadlines.
- Oversee budgeting processes, track costs, and manage contracts to stay within financial targets.
- Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and construction estimating software for documentation and communication.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Lead supervising teams by providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure proper use of equipment including ohmmeters for electrical testing on relevant projects.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, safety incidents, and quality control reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising construction sites.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Primavera; experience with management software like ProCore is preferred.
- Strong understanding of contracts, budgeting, blueprint reading, and construction estimating processes.
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and foster collaboration.
- Proficiency in using construction management software for documentation, scheduling, and reporting purposes.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and operate electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters when necessary.
- Prefer speaking spanish/english
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
