Gem City Behavioral Health is expanding our leadership team and seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as Assistant Clinical Director. This role is ideal for someone ready to lead with vision, collaborate across disciplines, and help shape the future of compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming autism care.

What We’re Looking For:

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with the owners to ensure the mission, values, and long-term vision of the clinic are consistently upheld and advanced
* Partner with the Clinical Director to support clinical quality and team development
* Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to RBTs and BCBAs
* Help guide daily operations, schedules, and clinical direction across therapy teams
* Foster a collaborative atmosphere with multiple professionals across disciplines
* Support a small, active caseload and meet required billable hour expectations
* Integrate and promote practices grounded in Dr. Hanley’s approach, emphasizing assent-based, trauma-informed care
* Uphold and model neurodiversity-affirming values, supporting the autonomy, dignity, and voice of every client
* Monitor quality of care, support treatment planning, and model best practices in ABA
* Lead with warmth, clarity, and strong professional boundaries
* Represent the clinic’s values internally and externally with positivity and professionalism
Required Qualifications:
* Active BCBA certification in good standing
* Minimum 4 years of leadership experience
* Familiarity with clinical administration, scheduling, and workflow planning
* Experience in school-based or full-day treatment settings
* Deep commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration
* Strong grounding in assent-based, trauma-informed care aligned with Dr. Hanley’s philosophy
* Demonstrated understanding and implementation of neuro-affirming practices
* Ability to model strong clinical boundaries, ethical decision-making, and team leadership
* Demonstrated ability to motivate and energize others
* Passionate about equity, inclusion, and relationship-centered care
Preferred:
* Interest in becoming Clinical Director of a future Gem City location
* Availability to stay on-site until 6:00 pm as needed
* Strong personal and professional alignment with mental health values
* Desire to lead and grow within a high-accountability, mission-driven culture
