American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care hospital setting in Florida, requiring a minimum of two years of recent hospital case management experience and proficiency in Cerner and related EMR systems.

Adult and geriatric patient population with a caseload of 25–30 patients

Schedule: 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, plus one full weekend every four weeks

No on-call or holiday requirements

13-week contract

Active FL or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required at time of consideration

Minimum two years of recent, consecutive acute care hospital case management and discharge planning experience within the past 24 months in a US hospital

Degree must be from an accredited school or from an institution approved by the Florida Board of Nursing (FBON)

Level I Trauma experience preferred

Proficiency required in Microsoft Office Suite, Cerner, CarePort, AllScripts, and Powerchart

Epic experience required

Proof of vaccination status required (declinations not accepted)

Responsibilities include completing initial patient assessments and revisiting patients at a minimum of every third day
