About the Role
1st Adjusters is hiring an experienced Tow Truck Driver / Repossession Driver for vehicle recovery and repossession operations across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
This is repossession work only — no roadside assistance or accident towing.
Drivers operate company-provided repo trucks equipped with Jerr-Dan wheel lifts and receive full support from dispatch and management.
This role is ideal for drivers who are dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working overnight repossession routes.
What You'll Do
- Locate and recover vehicles for repossession assignments
- Safely secure and transport recovered vehicles using a wheel-lift tow truck
- Follow company policies and Texas repossession regulations
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and recovery staff
- Document repossession recoveries and upload photos
- Maintain assigned tow truck and equipment
- Represent 1st Adjusters professionally in the field
Requirements
- 25+ years old (insurance requirement)
- Valid Texas driver’s license with clean MVR
- Active TDLR Consent Tow License
- Experience operating a tow truck / wrecker / repo truck preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Comfortable working overnight and independently
- Professional attitude when interacting with the public

Day or Night Shift
Typical hours: 8am to 6pm/8 PM – 6 AM
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

- Are you at least 25 years old (required for insurance coverage)?
- Do you currently hold a valid TDLR License (Must be for Towing: Consent tow)?
- Do you have a valid driver's license and a clean MVR?
- Do you have hands-on experience driving and operating a tow truck (not a pickup with a trailer)? Please explain
- Are you willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law and regulations?
- Are you able to work overnight shifts (typically 8pm - 6am), Sunday through Thursday?
- You must be comfortable sharing a truck with opposite shift, our company does not allow take home trucks. Is that something you're comfortable with?
