Our RN will help ensure the best health care practices that are in line with designated state rules and regulations for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who live in individualized settings throughout the Denver Metro area. The RN would attend our warm and welcoming office for 25 hours 3 days each week for 8.3 hours or similar. Examples of duties would include protocol development and training for individualized health needs such as g-tube training, epi-pen training, etc.; physician order coordination; medical appointment follow up; medication administration record review and follow up; hospitalization and discharge coordination; medical orientation training to personnel, and other. The RN would join our Quality Assurance Team in the provision of state-of-the-art care for the people we serve

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Qualification Requirements:
Currently Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Colorado.
Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred but not required.
Ability to learn state rules and regulations pertaining to HCBS services in the state of Colorado and apply to the position’s responsibilities.
Strong computer and technology skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets, apps, and cloud-based systems. Must be comfortable learning and using new technology.

Strong Attention to Detail, Organization, and Follow Through, with a Commitment to Accuracy.
Exceptional Listening and Interpersonal Skills.
Effective Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
Must be able to pass Criminal and Motor Vehicle Background Checks.
Valid Driver’s License.
First Aid/CPR Certification.
