Job Summary
Crowley Auto Body is seeking an experienced Autobody Damage Appraiser / Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage, writing detailed repair estimates, and coordinating with insurance partners and customers to ensure a smooth repair process.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can balance accuracy, speed, and customer communication in a fast-paced collision repair environment.
Responsibilities

Inspect vehicles and assess collision damage
- Write accurate and complete repair estimates using CCC ONE

Upload photos and documentation to insurance portals
- Communicate with insurance adjusters to negotiate and finalize repairs
- Blueprint repairs to ensure complete and efficient production flow
- Identify all damage (visible and hidden) prior to repair start
- Coordinate with production manager and technicians on repair plans
- Provide customers with repair updates and timelines
- Ensure all work follows OEM procedures and DRP requirements
- Monitor supplements and ensure proper documentation
- Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores
Requirements
Experience
-
2+ years experience as an autobody estimator/appraiser (required)
- DRP experience
- Strong understanding of collision repair processes
Skills
-
Proficiency in estimating platforms (CCC ONE preferred)
- Strong negotiation skills with insurance companies
- Ability to blueprint and identify hidden damage
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management ability
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Certifications (Preferred)

I-CAR Platinum or ProLevel Certification
- ASE Certification (B6 – Damage Analysis & Estimating)
