About This Position
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Specialist to support key human resources functions, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations. This role will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies, and aligning HR practices with business goals. The HR Specialist will also serve as a primary liaison with staffing agencies to meet dynamic workforce needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, Support onboarding, orientation, and employee development programs to ensure smooth integration and retention.
- Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws as well as company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records, payroll files, and benefits documentation.
- Prepare compliance reports, and support HR administrative tasks.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with staffing agencies and temporary labor providers.
- Monitor agency performance and ensure service quality aligns with organizational needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2+ years of HR experience, ideally in logistics, warehousing, or e-commerce environments.
- Proven experience collaborating with staffing agencies or contingent workforce providers.
- Solid knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and employee benefits administration.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
- High integrity and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
