Responsibilities
- Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting for new guests to ensure efficient service flow.
- Support food preparation and presentation by delivering dishes from the kitchen to the dining area with care and accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
- Handle food safely during service, including proper storage, handling, and disposal of food items.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process guest orders accurately when needed.
- Provide exceptional guest services by greeting guests warmly, responding promptly to their needs, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold hospitality standards, communicate effectively, and deliver seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and restaurant operations enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus but training will be provided.
- Banquet or large event experience is advantageous for supporting group functions and special occasions.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for engaging with guests and team members effectively.
- Kitchen or culinary experience, along with hotel or hospitality background, can provide valuable insight into our service standards.
