Wisconsin Whey Protein, a FrieslandCampina company, is looking for skilled Maintenance Mechanics to help keep our world-class dairy manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility while supporting safe, reliable production.
Your day could include:
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Completing daily equipment inspections and scheduled work orders.
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, and process system issues.
- Installing, repairing, and commissioning new equipment.
- Inspecting equipment for wear, malfunctions, and opportunities to prevent downtime.
- Working with production teams to quickly resolve equipment issues.
- Utilizing maintenance and plant systems including SAP, Outlook, Historian, iVue, and other plant software.
- Assisting production operations when business needs require.
Equipment You'll Work With
Our Maintenance Mechanics support a wide variety of industrial systems, including:
- Mechanical equipment
- Electrical distribution
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Steam, water, air, and gas systems
- Refrigeration equipment
- Boilers and heat exchangers
- Pumps, motors, conveyors, and process equipment
- Dryers, evaporators, filtration systems, HTST systems, reactors, and blending equipment
- PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment
No two days are exactly alike, making this an excellent opportunity for mechanics who enjoy solving problems and working on a variety of equipment.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Technical degree or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical or maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with production teams.
- Comfortable using computers and maintenance software.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred
- Industrial electrical background.
- Electrical Technician Certification.
- Experience in food, dairy, pharmaceutical, chemical, or other manufacturing environments.
- PLC troubleshooting and basic ladder logic experience.
- Experience with sanitary welding.
- Experience maintaining process equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility and requires employees to:
- Work around industrial equipment, steam, refrigeration systems, chemicals, and utilities.
- Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toe footwear, hearing protection, hard hat, and other equipment as needed.
- Safely work in a fast-paced production environment while following all GMP and safety requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Perform repetitive tasks while using hand and power tools.
- Work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
