Customer Service Representative
Job Description
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of proven work experience in a similar role (Medical or Laboratory preferred but not required)
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong commitment to first class customer service
- Must be very detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- High school education or equivalent
- Team Player
Job Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage a high call volume
- Answer, screen and forward all incoming calls/emails
- Comply with all HIPPA regulations and policies
- Perform clerical duties such as photo copying and faxing
- Build and maintain customer relationships through open and interactive communication with both professional staff and patients
- Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction
- Handle complaints, provide solutions and follow up to
ensure resolution
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information using the right methods and tools
