About the Role
Rowling Homes is looking for a senior Content Creator to own our social media presence end to end. This isn't a "post three times a week and report the numbers" job. You'll be the creative force behind how our brand shows up in the world. The person who decides what stories we tell, films them, edits them, and puts them in front of our community.
Real estate is a people business. Behind every transaction is a family moving out of their lifelong home, a couple starting a new chapter, a contractor transforming a property, an agent guiding someone through the biggest purchase of their life. Your job is to capture those stories authentically and turn them into content that establishes and reinforces who we are and what we stand for.
You won't be a cog in a content machine. You'll define how a growing real estate company presents itself to its community, with the trust and autonomy to build something meaningful. We have HIGH aspirations.
What You'll Own
Our entire social media presence. Strategy, calendar, production, publishing, and community engagement across all platforms.
Creative direction. You'll generate the ideas — campaigns, series, formats — that bring our brand and values to life. We want a point of view, not just execution.
Production from start to finish. Concept, film, edit, and publish. You'll be out in the field shooting at listings, job sites, closings, and community events — not behind a desk all day.
Vendor relationships. When a project calls for outside help — videographers, photographers, editors, designers — you'll source, brief, and manage those third-party partners.
Authentic partnerships. You'll build relationships and create content alongside our agents, buyers, sellers, contractors, community members, and local establishments. The goal: real stories that showcase the work we do and how we help people.
What Success Looks Like

- Growing engagement and reach that translates into brand trust and leads
- Agents, clients, and community partners who are excited to be featured
Skills
Content production
- Short-form video filming and editing (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) — shooting, cutting, captioning, sound
- Photography and basic photo editing for listings, events, and people
- Editing tools: CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut; Canva or Adobe Express for graphics
- Directing non-professional talent — making agents, buyers, and contractors comfortable on camera
Creative & brand
- Creative ideation — a repeatable pipeline of concepts, series, and campaign ideas
- Brand storytelling — translating company values into content with a consistent voice and visual identity
- Trend awareness — spotting platform trends and adapting them to real estate authentically
Social media management
- Platform expertise across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn
- Content calendar planning and scheduling (Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite)
- Community management — responding to comments/DMs in brand voice
- Analytics — reading engagement data and adjusting strategy
Relationships & operations
- Interpersonal skills — building trust with agents, clients, contractors, and community partners
- Vendor management — sourcing, briefing, and managing videographers, editors, designers
- Project management — juggling multiple shoots and deadlines self-directed
- On-location logistics — planning shoots at listings, job sites, closings, events
Judgment
- Discretion around clients' personal/financial situations; awareness of fair housing advertising rules
- Knowing what makes content authentic vs. salesy
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years creating content and managing social media for a brand, ideally with full ownership of channels
- A portfolio that proves it — show us work you conceived, filmed, and edited yourself
- Strong skills in short-form video production and editing (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook)
- Comfort being in the field: filming on location, directing non-professional talent, capturing candid moments
- Experience managing freelancers, agencies, or production vendors
- Excellent interpersonal skills — you'll be working with everyone from first-time buyers to seasoned contractors
- Self-directed and organized: you build the calendar, hit the deadlines, and keep the pipeline full
- Real estate, home services, or local business experience is a plus, not a requirement
