Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and preparing ingredients when needed
- Support the culinary team with bussing tables and clearing plates during busy service hours
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and storage spaces
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety compliance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during catering events or banquet services
- Help with light cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Basic understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
