Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, or fabricating various truck equipment components with precision and safety at the forefront. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of truck equipment.
- Use power tools, hand tools, pneumatic tools, and machining equipment to assemble and install components.
- Perform welding and mechanical assembly tasks to secure equipment parts according to safety standards and quality specifications.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of truck parts and equipment safely using appropriate techniques and forklift operation when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols throughout all stages of installation, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety standards in production environments.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, modify builds as needed, and optimize assembly processes for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or mechanic roles with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Skilled in welding techniques and familiar with pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, etc.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and experience with quality control defect detection.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and working in a physically demanding environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
