Job Overview
IWI US Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team at our new production facility in Tennessee . The ideal candidate will have experience working on an assembly line and possess mechanical knowledge, enabling them to efficiently assemble products using various hand and power tools. The Production Worker will serve as part of a multi-functional team focusing on specific task associated with the quality production, packing, and shipping of weapons. Tasks may vary depending on production demands and scheduling needs. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and safety, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Complete complex product assemblies using various hand and power tools. Manipulate small and large parts to ensure product is assembled correctly.
- Interpret technical documents, verbal or written instructions.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the assembly processes for various products.
- Work with team members on the line or group to assemble products.
- Ensure traceability by verifying serial numbers throughout the process.
- Identify and defective items and handle according to established procedures.
- Assemble boxes and packaging materials when required.
- Sort and place materials or items on rack, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
- Package firearms following standard protocols as defined by the company and depending on the product.
- Maintain required paperwork of items packed each day. Submit all paperwork to the Assembly Manager/ Production Manager within established timeframes. Communicate any issues or delays.
- Assist with tracking packaging materials inventory and communicate when stock is low to prevent shortages.
- Assisting shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking merchandise.
- Prepares orders by processing request and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing order in delivery area.
- Scanning serialized items into the ERP system to prepare for shipping.
- Demonstrate competency working in the Priority ERP system.
- Printing shipping labels, packing list and other required paperwork.
- Prepare shipments by pulling materials; packing boxes; placing order in delivery area.
- Maintain an organized and neat work area.
- Adhere to attendance/punctuality standards.
- Work overtime as required to meet production deadlines.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols. Prepare to package firearms by pulling materials; packing boxes and placing packed items designated staging areas.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalency (GED) and prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
