Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver packages along designated routes
- Load and unload shipments efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques
- Load parcels onto trucks in an organized manner to optimize delivery routes
- Deliver packages directly to customers’ homes or businesses with a friendly, professional attitude
- Verify delivery details and obtain signatures when required to ensure accuracy and accountability
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections throughout your shift
- Follow all safety protocols including proper lifting techniques and vehicle operation standards
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
- Prior delivery driver experience or courier background is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of packages regularly
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with physical activity involved
