Windjammer Surf Bar – Misquamicut Beach
Spend your summer at the beach while helping keep our guests, staff, and property safe.
Position Responsibilities
- Monitor the restaurant and surrounding property to maintain a safe, comfortable environment
- Check IDs and issue wristbands
- Communicate clearly with team members using two-way radios
- Remain highly observant and identify potential safety concerns before they become problems
- Assist with guest cutoffs and interactions involving intoxicated guests
- Escort guests from the property professionally and respectfully when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a security presence
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- TIPS Certification required
- Reliable, dependable, and trustworthy
- Friendly, approachable, and professional
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
Position Details
- Seasonal employment: May through October
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Operating hours: 11:00 AM – 1:00 AM
- Pay: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience
