Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and components for daily menu items, ensuring all food is fresh, properly portioned, and ready for service
- Cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently
- Handle food safely during preparation, cooking, and storage to prevent contamination or spoilage
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen roles within restaurants or catering environments
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
