Requirements
- Valid CDL Class B / Class A operator's license
- Current Medical Card
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Friendly, respectful, timely, and safe driver
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service
- 1 year of Roll-off Truck driving experience preferred
Job Description
- Local pickup, switch and delivery of 20, 30 & 40 yard Roll Off containers
- Requiring your ability to maintain a professional attitude
- Safely operate the equipment at residential sites, commercial sites and recycling facilities
- Empty containers at disposal sites
- Inspect the container before Hauling each time
- Open and close container door at dump sites
- Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle
- Communicate with dispatchers and scale personals at the disposal sites
- Responsible for the safe operation of the truck
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
Skills
- Proven work experience as a truck driver (preferred experience with a Roll off)
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, Cell Phone, CB etc)
- Ability to open and close the rear door of the container
- Ability to climb the metal ladder and check the container before loading
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Saturday availability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Experience:
- Commercial Truck Driving: 2 years (Preferred)
- Roll off Truck Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CDL Class B or CDL Class A (Preferred)
- DOT Medical Card (Preferred)
