California Career Institute is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Admissions Representative with a strong background in allied health and nursing programs. As the Admissions Representative, you will play a crucial role in recruiting and enrolling qualified students into our allied health and nursing programs. You will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about our programs, and ensuring a smooth transition from inquiry to enrollment.
Responsibilities:
1. Admissions Process Management:
- Guide prospective students through the admissions process, ensuring they understand application requirements, deadlines, and necessary documentation.
- Review and evaluate applications for eligibility and completeness.
2. Information Sessions:
- Conduct informative and engaging information sessions for prospective students and their families, detailing program offerings, admission requirements, and career opportunities.
3. Program Knowledge:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of allied health and nursing programs, curriculum, and accreditation standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes to ensure accurate and relevant information is provided to prospective students.
4. Student Outreach and Recruitment:
- Develop and implement effective strategies to attract qualified candidates for allied health and nursing programs.
- Attend college fairs, community events, and high school visits to promote our programs and establish a strong presence in the community.
5. Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with high school counselors, community partners, and healthcare professionals to enhance recruitment efforts.
6. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with academic advisors, faculty, and other departments to streamline the admissions process and enhance the student experience.
7. Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective students and their application status using the school’s CRM system.
8. Events Coordination:
- Assist in organizing and participating in campus events, such as open houses and orientation sessions, to create a welcoming and informative environment for prospective students.
Qualifications:
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field. Preferred.
2. Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of current experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field, with a focus on allied health and nursing programs, preferred
3. Knowledge:
- Understanding of allied health and nursing program requirements, accreditation standards, and industry trends.
4. Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present information to individuals and groups.
5. Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups of students and stakeholders.
6. Organizational Skills:
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and other relevant software.
7. Passion for Education:
- Genuine passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals in the allied health and nursing field.
Starting Salary: $30+/hour commiserate with experience.
In-person position; Non-exempt position; full-time; hourly
Based in Anaheim. Expected to travel between the two campuses as needed. Travel may be required to career/college fairs.
