Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and planting to keep grounds vibrant and healthy
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Conduct gardening activities like planting new flora, pruning shrubs, mulching beds, and removing weeds
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of soil, mulch, or equipment parts while following safety protocols
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our outdoor areas, including landscaping, gardens, and walkways.
Skills
- Availability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping roles
- Knowledge of plants, trees, and outdoor maintenance techniques
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to groundskeeping
