A pediatric therapy practice is seeking NYS licensed speech-language pathologist to provide home/community services in Queens.
Requirements:
- NYS Speech-Language Pathologist license + registration
- Availability to provide treatment Monday - Friday
- Previous home-care experience
- Experience providing services to minimally verbal children with Autism
Responsibilities:
- Foster strong relationships with families and create a nurturing learning environment in school, home and community settings
- Engage with caregivers to maintain consistent weekly therapeutic schedules
- Maintain weekly, quarterly, and annual paperwork including daily session notes, progress reports and annual reviews
- Provide treatment to school age children with diagnoses of Autism, ODD, ADHD and
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients
- Provide therapy sessions to clients to improve their speech and language skills
- Monitor and document progress of clients throughout the treatment process
- Collaborate with other education and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Ability to work independently and with a team
