CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER – LAND DEVELOPMENT

About the Opportunity
A Leading Civil Engineering Firm is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager – Land Development to lead residential and site development projects throughout Arizona. This position offers the opportunity to manage high-profile projects, mentor engineering teams, and contribute to the firm's continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead residential and commercial land development projects from concept through construction
- Manage internal engineering teams and external subconsultants
- Prepare scopes of work, fee proposals, and contract negotiations
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource planning
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships
- Ensure technical quality and QA/QC compliance throughout project delivery
- Provide mentorship and leadership to engineering staff
- Coordinate project deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of land development engineering experience
- Arizona PE License or ability to obtain within 3 months
- Strong client-facing and project management experience
- Experience preparing proposals and negotiating contracts
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
