Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently.
- Conduct carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and outdoor work as needed to maintain pristine environments.
- Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
- Handle manual lifting of supplies and heavy equipment safely while adhering to proper handling techniques.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory, operate janitorial equipment effectively, and ensure all surfaces are sanitized thoroughly.
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation protocols, and proper use of cleaning equipment is essential.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple locations or client requests.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical stamina.
- Experience in residential housekeeping or hospitality environments demonstrates a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration are vital for success in this role.
