Position Summary
The Registered Dental Assistant plays a vital role in delivering outstanding patient experiences by assisting doctors with clinical procedures, maintaining treatment rooms, ensuring infection control compliance, and supporting efficient office operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care
- Take and process dental radiographs
- Perform coronal polishing and other duties permitted by California RDA regulations
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Educate patients regarding oral health and post-treatment instructions
- Sterilize and organize instruments according to OSHA and CDC standards
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies
- Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care
Qualifications
- Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with dental software preferred but not required
