About the Role:
Luciano's Italian Brick Oven is looking for an energetic and friendly Counter/Take-Out Person to join our team in Mars, PA! This is a great opportunity to be the face of our business, delivering fast, friendly service to every customer who walks through our doors.
$12-$20/hr plus tips
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately at the counter
- Package take-out orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation
- Process cash and card transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming counter and front-of-house area
- Communicate order details clearly to kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation
- Answer customer questions about menu items, specials, and pricing
- Assist with restocking supplies, condiments, and packaging materials as needed
Requirements:
- Prior customer service, food service, or counter experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, upbeat attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Food safety knowledge or willingness to obtain food handler certification a plus
