Skill: Rating Technical Lead
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Distributed systems & microservices architecture
- API design, integration, and orchestration
- Rules engine (Drools) + rules extraction/translation
- Reverse engineering legacy systems (e.g., mainframe/Smalltalk)
- Insurance domain (rating, underwriting, policy lifecycle)
- Cloud-native development (Azure, AKS, CI/CD)
- Frontend awareness (Angular)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead squad for end-to-end delivery (design deploy)
- Own integration architecture (rating engines, APIs, queues)
- Drive rules extraction transformation implementation
- Ensure scalability, resilience, and performance
- Collaborate with business for rating/underwriting logic
- Guide devs, enforce coding standards, review design/code
Salary Range - $120,000 – $160,000 a year
