Full Job Description

Harper’s Ferry Apartments on Vintage Drive in Kenner, LA is seeking a reliable, experienced Part‑Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role responds to resident maintenance requests and prepares apartments for new resident move‑ins, working a consistent 28 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete resident work orders: basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
Turn vacant units according to company procedures to ensure move‑in readiness for new residents.
Maintain tools, supplies, and accurate work order documentation.
Communicate professionally with residents and property staff; follow safety and property procedures.
Other relevant duties as assigned by management.

Prior maintenance experience in multifamily housing, hospitality, or similar.
Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and perform physical tasks.
Strong problem‑solving, time management, and customer service skills.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Tools and reliable transportation are also required.
