We're seeking a detail-oriented Preconstruction Associate to support our estimating team and help ensure project data, takeoffs, and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.

EstimatingBid Support

Review project plans, specifications, and scope requirements.

Create quantity takeoffs for pursuit and bidding activities.

Support estimators during bid preparation and submission.

Process takeoffs related to bulletins, field orders, and change requests.
Project DocumentationTracking

Maintain project documentation in accordance with company standards.

Monitor bid activity, communications, and project metrics.

Manage historical project tracking information and reporting.

Prepare awarded projects for handoff to Operations.
Preconstruction Support

Partner with estimating, engineering, and VDC teams throughout the preconstruction process.

Assist Design team with model setup, and related activities.

Support process improvement efforts and departmental initiatives.

Provide document markup assistance and other support functions as needed.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who combines strong organizational and technical skills with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast paced construction environment.
Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience working in a professional office environment.

Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to read, understand, and interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and project specifications.
Preferred qualifications:

Previous Estimating or preconstruction experience

Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud and/or Autodesk Forma

Experience with Bluebeam, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk MEP Suite, or similar software platform

Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Technical aptitude and comfort learning new systems and technologies

Interest in innovation and process improvement

Desire to develop a long term career in estimating and preconstruction
