Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and statutory interpretation
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, legal motions, and pleadings with precision and clarity
- Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case strategies, and assisting with trial preparation activities
- Manage personal injury cases, including client communication, case documentation, and procedural law adherence
- Handle diverse litigation matters including general & commercial litigation, employment law cases, and personal injury law
- Assist with court depositions, legal advocacy efforts, and procedural law compliance to strengthen case outcomes
- Maintain accurate case management records and ensure timely updates on all ongoing legal matters
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and employment law
- Proven experience in personal injury cases, contract drafting, trial preparation, legal motion preparation, and litigation support
- Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw for statutory and case law analysis
- Excellent negotiation abilities coupled with effective client communication skills
- Proficiency in legal writing, drafting legal documents with clarity and professionalism
- Familiarity with court depositions procedures and general & commercial litigation practices
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
