Job Summary:
In this position a material handler will be focused on supporting the flow of products from the floor to the racking and from the racking to the floor. This is an extended reach fork lift operator position. They will communicate and coordinate with the lead material handler on how they achieve efficiency in material handling, inventory rotation, and inventory accuracy.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday: 9:30am-6pm. This position guarantees 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities & Duties:
During day-to-day operations, the material handler expected to operate an extended reach upright fork lift to drop product for stocking and product allocated to open orders. Material handler must take an active role in all physical aspects of the job. Operators will be working on and off the lift. This includes the following actions and abilities:
1. Inventory Accuracy: Locating product within Wireless Warehouse System with efficiency and accuracy.
2. Coordinate with the lead material handler in efficiently maintaining inventory accuracy, product rotation, stocking, wrapping/labeling pallets and put away.
3. Follow instructions to perform product rotation with Secondary Warehouse and Quality Control Department: Communicating with the lead material handler, warehouse supervisor and QC Staff for daily product rotation based on forecast sales volume, date codes (first-in-first-out), and expected incoming products.
4. Receiving Processes: Cross-train as backup for verifying incoming shipment counts against vessel reports and packing lists – making note of damaged or missing product. Assist in the unloading and sorting of incoming shipments.
5. Assist staff members with inventory discrepancies as needed.

Job Specifications:
· High School Diploma – General education degree or equivalent.
· Minimum 1 year of material handling extended reach upright forklift operation with proven track record.
· Ability to read and write in English.
· Strong understanding and use of Computer systems and Warehouse Management Software.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to stand, bend, twist, climb and reach throughout entire shift.
Pay: $22.50 an hour to start
