About HWC Custom Cabinetry
Since 2004, HWC Custom Cabinetry has provided the Lowcountry with high-end traditional, transitional, and contemporary European cabinetry. We aren't your typical "dusty woodshop." We operate a modernized, technology-integrated facility where craftsmanship meets industrial automation. We are looking for a professional, experienced Finisher who wants to grow with us and eventually step into a Lead role.
The Role: Craftsmanship Powered by Tech
As a Cabinetry Finisher, you won’t just be spraying wood; you’ll be managing a high-tech production workflow. You will produce high-quality, defect-free finishes (paint, stain, and glaze) using both traditional spray booths and our Makor flatline finishing system.
- Advanced Equipment: You will utilize gravity feed and air-assisted airless sprayers.
- Automation: You will be trained to operate, clean, and troubleshoot the Makor flatline machine, which includes 3 paint pumps and a clear thinner pump.
- Digital Workflow: Forget paper tickets. We use Innergy ERP, QR scanners, and mobile devices to track project progress in real-time.
- Professional Communication: You will utilize Google Workspace (Gmail/Calendar) and Innergy to stay synced with the team.
What We Are Looking For (The "Ideal Fit")
We have high standards because our clients expect the best. We are looking for:
- Technical Aptitude: You have experience in finishing or a degree/certificate from a woodworking or manufacturing program.
- Mechanical Curiosity: You have the aptitude to learn how to maintain and troubleshoot high-end machinery.
- Tech-Fluent: You are comfortable using tablets, computers, and specialized software (Innergy) on the shop floor.
- Articulate: You possess a great command of the English language (oral and written).
- Professional Integrity: You are reliable, honest, and take pride in your work. Please Note: Chronic absenteeism, tardiness, and substance abuse are immediate disqualifiers.
