American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a 13-week day shift travel contract in Georgetown, TX, requiring ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.

Emergency Department setting in a hospital with 23 beds
-
Patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1
-
Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-
4 weekend shifts per schedule period
-
No on-call requirements
-
Staffing includes RNs, CNCs, Paramedics, and PCTs, with levels that fluctuate based on patient volume
-
Common procedures include cardioversion, TNK administration, and moderate sedation
-
Equipment used includes Welch Allyn and GE devices
-
EMR system: Meditech
-
Active TX RN license or compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

CPI certification required (SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI)
-
NIH Stroke Scale certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience required; 2 years preferred

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required (candidates from Florida or Missouri must provide two references)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
-
Certified Primary Stroke Center and Level IV Trauma Center designation
-
Recipient of the 2023 AHA Mission: Lifeline Systems of Care Recognition for CAD performance
-
CNCs on the unit support staff and facilitate self-scheduling
-
Providers actively collaborate with nursing and participate in the Unit Based Council monthly

Scrubs required in navy blue

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
