Barista Job Summary:
Join one of the area's newest and fastest-growing cafés! Grind & Go Café is known for serving specialty coffee, fresh food, and exceptional customer service in a fun, fast-paced environment. With a strong and growing social media presence, we're always creating exciting new drinks, seasonal specials, and memorable experiences for our guests.
As a Barista, you'll be the face of our café, crafting high-quality espresso drinks, connecting with customers, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
Requirements:
Please apply only if you meet the following qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- At least 1 year of barista experience.
- Experience using a commercial espresso machine, including dialing in espresso and pulling consistent shots.
- Able to follow recipes and prepare seasonal menu specials consistently.
- Available to work weekends and year-round.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, outgoing, dependable, and able to provide exceptional customer service.
- Positive attitude, works well with others, and enjoys being part of a team.
- Reliable transportation.
Schedule:
We offer a flexible and fair work schedule, but weekend availability is required.
- No night shifts, enjoy a consistent daytime schedule!
- Opportunities to pick up additional hours when available.
- Staff are welcome to switch shifts with coworkers, subject to manager approval.
Cafe Hours:
- Tuesday–Friday: Open 7a–2p (Typical Shifts are 6:30a–3p).
- Saturday & Sunday: Open 8a–2p (Typical Shifts are 7:30a–3p).
- Closed every Monday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, 4th of July.
