The Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring and supporting daily field operations from the Integrated Operations Center (IOC) for both Midstream and Exploration & Production (E&P) assets. This role monitors operational data, responds to alarms, coordinates field activities, and helps ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Monitor field operations through electronic surveillance systems and provide feedback, diagnostics, and predictive recommendations.

Respond to operational alarms and coordinate appropriate field resources for issue resolution.

Prepare and distribute nightly reports summarizing field operations and production activities.

Maintain activity logs, operational status reports, and safety/environmental incident reports.

Evaluate daily production estimates to identify production shortfalls caused by equipment issues, leaks, spills, theft, or changing well conditions.

Coordinate operational activities and emergency response efforts as needed.

Monitor field operations and respond to routine operational issues with minimal supervision.

Utilize surveillance applications to support field operations and dispatch personnel as appropriate.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.

Collaborate with operations teams to support safe and efficient production.

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant oil and gas operations or control room experience.

Strong understanding of production, midstream, or field operations.

Experience monitoring operational data, responding to alarms, and coordinating field activities.

Ability to identify operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
