As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our internal employees and external clients. You will be the first point of contact for any IT-related issues and will play a crucial role in maintaining our company's technology infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications
- Monitor and maintain the company's network and server infrastructure
- Manage user accounts and access permissions
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement new technology solutions
- Conduct regular system backups and ensure data security and integrity
- Train employees on new technologies and software applications
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to recommend improvements and upgrades to the company's systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a similar IT support role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud computing technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- IT certifications (such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus
