Pay: Starting at $15-$16/hour + tips (based on experience)
Jersey Mike’s Subs is looking for a dependable, motivated Shift Leader to help lead our team and deliver an outstanding experience for every customer. We’re looking for someone who leads by example, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about providing excellent customer service.
As a Shift Leader, you’ll help oversee daily operations, support team members, maintain food quality and cleanliness, and ensure every shift runs smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into restaurant management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate team members during each shift.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Prepare fresh, high-quality food while following Jersey Mike’s standards.
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards are maintained.
- Assign tasks and keep the team productive throughout the shift.
- Open and/or close the restaurant following company procedures.
- Assist with cash handling and maintaining accurate drawer counts.
- Help train and coach new employees.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus but not required.
- Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
