Solar & Electrical Installation Technician

Pay: $20 - $28/hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Brighten Solar is a growing, locally owned company specializing in residential solar, battery storage, and electrical installations. We may be a small team, but we take on every project with professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
We're looking for an Installation Technician who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in doing the job right, and wants to build a long-term career in the solar and electrical industry. What You'll Do
- Install residential solar PV systems
- Install battery storage systems (Enphase, Tesla, FranklinWH, and others)
- Perform service work and troubleshoot existing systems
- Read and accurately follow installation plans
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications, company standards, and electrical code
- Complete projects safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail
- Communicate professionally with customers and fellow team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Identify potential issues and proactively solve problems before they become costly delays
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical work, construction, or a related trade
- Ability to safely use power tools and work at heights
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Preferred:
- Solar installation experience
- Electrical experience
- Experience installing battery storage systems
- OSHA or electrical certifications (a plus)
