Warehouse Supervisor

Company Overview
We are a distributor serving the semiconductor industry, supporting customers with critical components, inventory management programs, and time-sensitive deliveries. We are seeking an experienced warehouse professional who will take ownership of our warehouse operations and help maintain the high level of service our customers expect.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, shipping, organization, and quality assurance. While this position does not directly manage employees, it serves as the primary supervisor of warehouse processes and standards.
The ideal candidate has prior warehouse experience, takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient operation, and is comfortable making decisions to ensure materials are handled accurately and shipped on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and maintain accurate inventory control
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, documentation, and product condition
- Determine proper disposition of incoming materials, including stock inventory, customer staging, or immediate shipment
- Pull and prepare inventory for customer stocking programs and scheduled releases
- Package and ship orders using UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers, and customer-specific shipping portals
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and efficiency
- Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies
- Perform quality checks to ensure orders are shipped correctly and materials are properly identified and stored
- Continually evaluate warehouse layout and storage methods to improve efficiency and accommodate changing inventory levels
- Travel to our secondary warehouse location (across the street) approximately once daily to receive and ship larger freight and operate a forklift
- Make local customer deliveries as needed (company vehicle provided for deliveries only)
- Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and customer service personnel to ensure customer requirements are met
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse organization
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 70 lbs
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer skills and experience using shipping software and inventory systems
- Forklift experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time position
- Monday–Friday
- Business hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Competitive pay based on experience (typically $25–$35 per hour)
