Elite Dental Group is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Associate Dentist to join our growing team in Lakewood, Colorado. Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy, extractions, and prosthodontic treatments.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records using dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix; document all treatments performed in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
Skills
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software including Open Dental, Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control standards, and medical imaging techniques.
- Experience in oral surgery procedures is highly desirable.
- Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), and dental fabrication processes.
- Ability to assess patient needs accurately while demonstrating excellent patient care skills with empathy and professionalism.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance for safeguarding patient information and medical records management.
