This position requires an employment history with a focus in Restoration Construction field management. The Superintendent is responsible for the supervision and management of all aspects of assigned project(s) from mobilization through punch list and demobilization, including client relations, and cost control of general conditions. The Superintendent is Haggerty’s direct link between Haggerty, our clients, and subcontractors/vendors. The minimum requirements for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Quality/Supervision:

Ensuring all construction work performed is of the highest quality

Ensuring project mobilization occurs including all necessary signage and (HCI) jobsite branding
-
Works with Claims Manager to resolve problems regarding plans or specifications, conflicts with the clients, and subcontractors

Accurately understanding and noting plans to ensure scope coverage
-
Ensuring demobilization of HCI owned equipment and all trades from the jobsite occurs and site is left in a clean, orderly manner
-
Generation and timely completion of the project punch list.

Must know all Third-Party Administrator (TPA) program work program requirements as well as Xactimate estimates and budgets.

Review daily requirements of the projects, document progress and notify managers of progress and challenges

Provide appropriate field documentation, photo logs, graphs and sketches for various TPA projects

Must have a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices

Must work within time constraints to meet specific timelines

Supervise and self-perform residential and light commercial work

Plan, coordinate, and oversee the work of HCI team and subcontractors in all phases of construction

Regularly supervise multiple crews simultaneously on multiple projects
-
Understand and adhere to local building codes and regulatory agencies
Safety:
-
Accurate and timely submittal of any Incident Reports to Safety Manager and HR Manager within 24 hours of injury
-
Maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to HCI’s safety policies and procedures, and ensuring all people on the jobsite follow the same

Holding weekly tailgate safety meetings and obtaining signatures from all in attendance

Maintaining and refilling company assigned Vehicle First Aid Kit
-
Completing Monthly Vehicle Inspections for company assigned vehicle and turning in by date indicated by Vehicle Administrator.
- Maintaining / refilling all documents in the Vehicle Binder

Weekly subcontractor foreman meetings that review all project specific details (when applicable)

Attend all operations and safety meetings as required

Educational and Experience Considerations:
-
Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in restoration/construction industry in a Supervisory role
-
Working knowledge of all crafts (ability to read and understand specifications for all trades), and prior experience as a foreman or journeyman
-
CPR and First Aid certified
-
OSHA 30-Hour training certified (mandatory)
