We're a family-owned developer and builder with 70+ years in the LA market, and we're growing. This role is direct with the developer — not a temporary GC assignment — on a 149-unit multifamily project, with a full pipeline of work behind it. What you'll do
As the Superintendent's right hand, you'll keep the site moving, the trades coordinated, and the work built right the first time:
- Run the day — support field operations, coordinate subs, drive trade sequencing, and keep the site organized and on layout.
- Protect the schedule — track progress and flag delays or conflicts early.
- Own quality — walk the work, manage punch lists, and get units turnover-ready for inspection and occupancy across units, common areas, MEP, and exteriors.
- Keep everyone safe — enforce OSHA and site safety, monitor sub compliance, and address unsafe conditions on the spot.
- Keep the paper straight — coordinate inspections, maintain daily field reports, and help track RFIs, submittals, and change directives with the PM.
- Communicate — be the go-to for subs on assigned scopes and surface field issues to the Superintendent and PM team.
What we're looking for
- 3–7 years in construction, ideally multifamily or large residential (100+ units preferred).
- Solid grasp of means and methods, sequencing, and building systems; able to read drawings, specs, and schedules.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and clear communication with trades and inspectors.
- OSHA 10 or 30 preferred.
- Use of AUTOCAD and other plan software a big plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred — you'll coordinate with the trades daily.

The practical part of the job: Walk the site daily, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Typical hours 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with some variation by project needs.
Some Saturdays required.
Pay: $82,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
