Position Overview
We are seeking a warm, proactive, and relationship-driven Development & Marketing Coordinator to serve as a vital bridge between our generous supporters and our mission. In this role, you will lead our donor stewardship, community networking, marketing campaigns, and public events. Working in close coordination with our Executive Director, you will build meaningful connections across the community, turn program outcomes into inspiring impact stories, manage our donor CRM, and lead the administrative logistics for our signature annual gala and community appeals.
- Events Management: Donor appreciation events, and public awareness campaigns—handling logistics, registration, invitations, and sponsor fulfillment.
- Marketing & Communications: Manage HOH’s website, social media, monthly newsletters, and print/digital collateral to elevate brand awareness while ensuring strict client confidentiality.
- Sponsorship Fulfillment: Coordinate corporate sponsorship packets, ensure sponsor deliverables and recognition plans are met, and support Executive Director outreach.
- Volunteer Support: Assign, guide, and support volunteers assisting with fundraising and public outreach events.
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience in fundraising support, donor relations, event planning, or nonprofit marketing.
- High school diploma or equivalent (relevant degree or certifications welcomed).
- Proficiency with (or ability to quickly learn) nonprofit CRMs, email marketing tools, social media management, and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
- Strong written communication, organizational skills, and high attention to detail.
- Uncompromising discretion and commitment to client confidentiality.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background screening.
Work Schedule & Physical Demands
- Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, with flexible hours.
- Availability: Occasional evening or weekend availability required for major events and gala activities.
- Travel: Ability to occasionally travel for HOH events.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs for event setup and promotional materials.
