We are currently seeking dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our transportation team in Sidney, Ohio.
Position Overview
As a Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will play an important role in safely delivering Freshway Foods products while representing our company with professionalism and reliability. This position requires strong driving skills, attention to safety, and a commitment to on-time deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies
- Transport and deliver Freshway Foods products efficiently and on schedule
- Plan and manage delivery routes effectively
- Maintain accurate logs and transportation records, including mileage, fuel usage, and inspections
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery updates, delays, road conditions, or operational concerns
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure products are handled safely and securely during transport
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Proven history of safe and efficient driving performance
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to commute to Sidney, Ohio (Required)
