Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity offers two full-time openings—one for grades 6–8 and one for grades 9–12—focusing on mild to moderate needs. Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active Colorado Teaching License
- Special Education (SPED) Endorsement required
- Experience working with mild/moderate student needs
- Willingness to assist with toileting needs if necessary
- Confident managing classroom behaviors with positive support strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for a caseload of approximately 25–30 students
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to drive student success
- Support students’ academic, social, and behavioral growth using evidence-based practices
- Monitor student progress and maintain current, comprehensive documentation
- Facilitate a respectful, inclusive classroom environment for middle or high school students
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school events as part of the site-based special education department
